Awesome Very well made water shoe. I wear it in the river (depth from ankle level to chest to neck level) with rocky and sandy terrain when fishing, no debris gets in to this thing. I am basically in the river the whole time. The sole has great traction and is the perfect balance between protection without sacrificing movement and sensation. I am constantly hitting my toes against rocks but they are well protected. My fishing buddy after seeing me wear them a few times have also decided to pick up a pair. They are true to size and possibly at best 1/2 a size smaller since the description tells you to order up if you full within the half size shoe size. Again, highly recommended.

Looks better in Person! I was very surprised at how nice these shoes fit and looked. I am going to use them during a trip to the beach. While not a beach shoe, I will also be surf fishing. I wanted something to keep sand out and stable while walking on rocks/ reefs.

Update The sole on the right shoe was starting to come off after a little more than two weeks of wear - it kind of looks like a loose tank tread. I wouldn't say I wore them in extreme conditions just in the river while fishing. Overall the shoe is still impressive. I hope that I just got a bad one (not the fault of Altrec). Ryan and Dave at Altrec were very helpful in prepping my return label. I've decided to go with these again and hopefully they won't give out. The hassle free return made me confident to buy from Altrec again.
